The Central Bank of Trinidad and Tobago has replaced all paper TT$ banknotes with polymer ones. The old paper TTD dollars are no longer legal tender from December 2021.
All current paper Trinidad and Tobago Dollar banknotes are made of polymer plastic and have one vertical serial number on the front side. They are from the series issued in 2015 (commemorative), 2019 and after. They are different to the older style paper TTD banknotes.
